If you could only do one exercise what would it be?

I'd have to say that i would be deadlifts for me...there are to many other lifts that concentrate on one or two body parts....deadlifts, on the other hand, work your upper back, lower back, traps, forearms, shoulders, hams and quads.....it's badass.

Squats definitely. That’s one exercise where you can manipulate your whole body to grow. A central nervous system shocker:alien:

Either heavy deadlifts because of all the different muscle groups that they involve, or heavy clean and presses because of the same reason. Both are heavy power exercises that seem to inolve more muscle groups than any other single exercise.

Monstar-Plate deadlifts are regular deadlifts done off of a 100-ib plate which adds an extra 3 inches or so to the range of motion. My legs are pretty long, so to go to slightly below parallel, I need to use an elevated surface like a plate or block.I feel that the increased range of motion calls the legs and low back more into play.
Squat cleans are regular cleans, but instead of catching the bar with the legs at a half squat position, you catch the bar when your legs are in a full squat position. This is basically a power clean and a front squat combined.
I chose these two exercise because, I believe they hit most of the muscles in the body, especially the legs and back.If I could only doone exercise, it would definetly be one of these.
