If diet is so important how come everyone always post here and not there

Hey bro's it's been well established that diet, not gear is the most important part of building quality muscle. Why is it that the AAS forum always has the most posts and the diet section next to nothing?

How about we post up some good bulking and cutting diets your choice. Get as detailed as you like.

Mods move this over to the diet section whenever you like. Just thought it might get more play here.

Maybe some of the new guys will start paying more attention to diet and less to large doses of gear?

Thoughts?

Most of use know what complex carbs/simple carbs are, protein, good fat/bad fat. That being said if you know your body weight and what you need to be taking in (either bulking or cutting) than your good. Besides wouldnt we all look like a bunch of faggots if we spent all day exchanging recipes on the diet forum =)

Yeah

Most of the activity on the diet board is n00Bs looking for help. Diet is more important than any cycle or supplement yet there is hardly any activity in there.

well everyone browsing the ass forums should not be asking for diet advice...if they are there obviously not ready for steroids...how can you be any bit advanced at the gym natural if you dont even eat right to begin with?

Well now I would not say that. lololololol

Yep… the moment I actually started to meet my protein requirements gains shot through the roof…(2gm/lb of bodyweight)

You really have to count your macronutrients though…

LOL at enacer. I guess you don't like Needto much. LMFAO!!!

Honestly.... a bulking diet is not a complicated matter. Now when your'e talking about guys taking diuretics, clen, T3, and such too lose fat you have a valid point. Which if you read my posts you can see I explain this to everyone.

You can manipulate hormones with food and there really is no need for these drugs unless you are on a pro level.

Nelson I have to disagree with you to a point. It seems easier to me and evidently many of the bro's on this site that doing a basic cycle of test and maybe another compound for ten to twelve weeks followed by post cycle therapy is easier that putting together a proper diet plan.

Learning to eat properly to achieve ones goals be it cutting or bulking is much more difficult for the beginer. Most of these guy's/gals don't know the first thing about determining BMR. Then you get into breaking your diet down into macronutrients and determing what those should be for your body type to achieve the goal your trying to achieve. In addition many bro's don't know alot about cooking. Prepairing meals in advance. When to eat what meal, when to suppliment.

At any rate I for one feel like the diet end of this is as much or more a mystery then anything.

I'm fairly new to this whole game and would never pretend to know more than you about bodybuilding, use of gear or diet. I would just like more attention paid to it on this site in general.

I think Tatyana did a post that I believe is a sticky that will help many is this endeavor. Thank's Tat.

that's your opinion, totally goal dependant and also comes back to your body type ecto, meso, endo...
And yes, the reason a cutting diet is successful and why the drugs are not as successful comes down to hormones such as insulin that are diet related.

why? cuz most say they have diet in check to appease, when they really have no clue. gear use = instant gratification for alot of people. dieting although everyone says is so "simple and easy" takes dedication and discipline and that isnt instantly gratifing (sp).

Good point.

I never said diet was easy to implement, just simple to execute.

To gain, eat more.

To cut, eat less.

Eat a balance of wholesome food emphasizing protein.

The end.

You can get into a million variations but it all comes down to these basic points. Follow them and you can't go wrong.

You can discus nutrient timing and partitioning and what have you but it'll just be a bunch of academic wanking. KISS.

it really is amazing that people dont know how to eat...but they spend thousands on steroids thinking there gonna get swole

yea and u would think .. if they need tips .. it would be easier for them to stroll over to an all DIET section to get what they need..instead of fishing threw steriod threads .. :artist:

I know how to eat, and I know how to run drugs, I still don't make the best gains possible - because I don't know how to train for my goals.

About the personalities attracted to AAS use, 4 out of 10 of us have macho-man-syndrome.

It's always been like that. Most people think they already know how to train and eat, but want someone to sign off on their cycles or tell them that everything will be okay when they get bad sides, etc. To be honest with you I lurk around on the training sections but don't post as often, and I should spend much more time in the diet section. AAS is actually the easiest part of the equation. 10 weeks of something reasonable then PCT. Not hard. Diet and training is the hard part. I thought I knew a lot about training until I bought the book Starting Strength. 50 pages about how to swuat properly will teach you that you really didn't know as much as you thought you did.
