Time for an update...
Nelms and I just finished a whole day in Sydney! We walked everywhere (at least 3+ miles) and got to see the Opera House, the Harbor Bridge, the Botanical Gardens, and Sydney Tower - what an amazing day! We leave tomorrow morning for New Zealand and start "winging it" from there. In other words, we have a hotel for the first night, and then we are on our own!We're renting a car and seeing where it takes us...LOOK OUT! Nelms and IP will be on the loose in the land of the Hobbits!!! LOL!
*Bunny*, we saw your request for pics in Mermaid's thread. We have taken over 200 pictures so far, and we haven't even made it to Mermaid's, yet. Heck, we're only 5 days into the vacation, and we are trying to figure out how to get more memory for the camera without getting KILLED on prices here. We should have gotten a memory card in Thailand ($40 for 1GB), but oops ...live and learn.
Well, I guess that's it for now. The i-cafe we are using is freaking HOT, and we've been out all day. Time for some raspberry vodka and diet Sprite and R&R in the hotel room.
