I was wondering what bands people listen to when they are working out.

I like to get into a zone when I workout, an aggresive, power zone.

I like listening to bands like...

Iron Maiden
Filter
Tool
Metallica
Megadeath
Pantera
Dream Theatre
Rob Zombie
Alice in Chains
Godsmack
Rage Against the Machine

I am always looking for different, aggresive bands like these to add to my songs list. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

On my mp3 player currently:
Redman- Time 4 sum aksion
DMX-Bring your whole crew
RATM-Guerilla Radio
Paul Oakenfold- Ready steady go
LL Cool J-Momma said knock you out
Manson- the Beautiful People
Eminem, DMX, Obie Trice-Go to Sleep

you should definitley get slipknot. Not the newest one (it's ok at best) but the one with wait and bleed, only one, etc.

I bought an iPOD in June and so far I've put on about 30 songs- all Pantera and Slipknot. Shoulda bought a 512 mb tiny one.

On the CD I mentioned above there are some of the best lifting songs ever. Check out "Liberate" and you'll see what I mean.

godsmack
Pantera
disturbed
hatebreed
STP
metallica
RATM
ratt
scorpions
motley crue
ac/dc
ice cube
2pac

anything that gets me focused on doing max work.

I'd only consider an ipod for working out too because they are so small and light, but I don't have the cash to spend on one right now. Generally I have to put up with whatever pop crap is playing in the gym, but it's cool cuz I don't even notice it while lifting.

If I was wearing an ipod while training I"d listen to:

DMX
Brotha Lynch Hung
Ice Cube

and any mad sounding gangsta rap

Also Metallica, Pantera and a few other heavy metal bands

Anything agressive sounding is good...

I listen to anything techno, like Paul Van Dyke or Voodo and Serano to get me going!
Techno also. I like the steady stream of rhythm.
