I was wondering what bands people listen to when they are working out.

I don't control the gym music but I listen to Metallica on the way to the gym. I don't even hear the music in the gym.

the sound of my training partner yelling at me and the gym music, which is usually techno so thats fine.

damn I need an mp3 player or something. So sick of hearing people groaning like a stuck pig, then seeing that it was due to a set of squats with 185 or something. It kinda motivates me though, instead of choking the grunting retards I just get mad at the weights and train real hard, lol.

Hey, sometimes you gotta grunt! Nothing wrong with a little grunting here and there as long as it's not doen to be noticed.

Some exercises I never grunt on and some I do.

Don't knock er you tried it haha.

I have to have music. It's like I'm the only person in the whole place with the music on. It also keeps people from talking to me. I bet I've said less than a hundred words at the gym in 8 months of working out there.

hmm tough question!! so many answers!!! mASON,korn, sum jamican rock band, mushroom head, linkin park, hatebreed, relient k, and many man y many more!!

On leg days I will only listen to:

Prodigy
Godsmack
Rob Zombie
Rammstein
MDFMK
Queesnryche
Disturbed
Static X
Perfect Circle
Tool
AC/DC

On upper body days I'll listen to the above list and also toss in a little Moby, Velvet Revolver, Audioslave, Paul Oakenfold.

not a fan of techno but all the above named metal bands rock. Add to that 'let the bodies hit the floor' by drowning pool and a happy little tune i heard not long ago called 'die motherfucker die' by a band called dope. intense. oh and by the way r.i.p to dimebag darrel of pantera. A guitar god who will be missed.
