gymgurl it all depends on how your body reacts to the hormones and also whether you are on the high dose of hormones or the low.

It didn't kill mine when I was on. It did kill my sex life, though, by making me gain 10 pounds and become a total bitch. Depo sucked for my sex life too - I had acne ALL over my back. During the summer. I was the only girl on the lake with a tshirt on over her bikini.

aren't BC pills some form of anti estrogen? if so, that would explain an increase in sex drive. (relative to estrogen, test levels will go up)

it all depends on what type of pills you are on..there are many of different names and brands for different things.generally if you have a problem regulating your "schedule" they put you on hormonal bc....
