i need help deciding what to do

alright i want abs and i know how to get them....i only have one problem...im not sure what to do...should i work on toning them or should i do some more cardio...heres a pic:

ok first off neither pic works

toning them ? you can get the muscles bigger or cut fat or both

those are your choices

by the way sorry if it seems like i was asking how to get a 6-pack or whatever cuz i saw that and i checked it out and i dont think im doing anything wrong

I dont know, i certainly dont have abs, but especially from the side it looks like your abs are pretty slim, i mean not too much fat at all.

What's your waist size? It looks like you're relatively lean but have some stubborn layer of ab fat. I've seen research indicating that cardio better burns subcutaneous fat (below skin), the kind that obscures your muscles thana general caloric defecit without cardio, which burns visceral fat (the fat around your organs).

You could also probably benefit from bigger abs; for that I'd recommend weighted (not bodyweight) work.

So if you're not already doing cardio, I'd start. Thermogenic supplements such as an EC stack are effective.

i ended up figuring out that i need cardio work since i can not visibly see my abs. see now all i need to know is what is the best type of cardio training. i have treadmill and ive started a workout plan with interval distance training for 20 minutes in the mourning. does everything sound good or is there something im not doing?
