I have a friend whom I am working out with and he is having an odd problem. We have been working out for about 8 weeks now and his strength is increasing just fine but his development is not symmetrical. His left side is growing but his right is status quoe. How does he combat this?
Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks

We are currently using dumbells. His strength is equal in both sides its the actual development that is off. Just by keeping with the lifting will it eventually equal out or should we try to use more weight on one side?

It takes TIME...that is the one thing that most people never want to give. Don't worry...just focus on getting bigger...as you grow...you will gain that symmetry.

I second what b fold said. Be patient. Symmetry will come but understand that we each have our little imbalances. To be perfectly symmetrical in all muscle groups is a rare thing. Most of the time the imbalances are undetectable by the eye.
