I am getting burned out liftiung by myself, and need someone to push me, but I can't find anyone dedicated enough or ever on time.....THIS STINKS!

i hear you bro. im also the loner when it comes to lifting time. its cool though. on my heavy sets, i just ask for a spot. no one will (or should) ever decline your request.

I feel your pain, I tried different workout partners including friends and family but in the end they can't maintain and start missing workouts.

I like working out solo, but every now and then need a push... I guess that's is when I cowboy up and just hit the gym. I am not to crazy about asking just anybody for a spot, a bad spot can be worse than no spot at times.

I've never like having a workout partner, you spend more itme waiting for them to get to the gym or having to miss or conform to each others schedule. It's just too much of a pain in the ass for me. If oyu have the desire, you will push yourself. I know enough people in my gym that when I get to the point where I need to really push out a couple more reps. I just get someone to spot me. It is nice to have a workout partner but, unless you work with them on the same hours & are single, it's hard as hell to stay on schedule. Besides, I've yet to have one that was anywhere near as dedicated as I am.

i know who i can ask a spot from. people i know from my gym who know how to lift. im sure there are those kind where you are. if not, when asking for a spot, be very specific as to how many reps you are hoping to get out, and how much you would like them to spot. nothing to it bro.

hey dont worry about it my man. If you can keep it up by yourself, then that shows even more that you are dedicated enough. I dont have a lifting partner either. Its sucks because in between setes t sometimes is nce to talk to someone. I just got a lifting partner this week, its a woman and I love it. there are different points of views for everything because women like to concentrate on different body parts. She is a fitness competitor so I beieve her whenever she says anything, she knows her shit.
