I just have to share this!

Today is my oldest child's birthday.... She is 12.

I wonder if she'd be old enough to understand these words? By re-reading this post, Pamela I am reminded yet again HOW LUCKY I AM TO BE MY KIDS' MOTHER. It isn't that I am so great. I am not. I struggle and flounder and mess up constantly - but my children - THEY ARE PERFECT IN EVERY WAY.

I would be lost if I'd not been allowed the privilige to be their mother.

Sometimes I am deeply saddened because my own mother is less than nice (trying to be diplomatic) and I think maybe I failed her as a daughter.... It's all good though. Only makes me work even harder to rectify this karmic situation by being a better mother to my own children.

What did you do for your daughter's Birthday? ;)

I'm very thankful I have my Mother. Cause My relationship with my Father is nonexistence.
He was never there. And Mom was. I can really say I don't have a Dad.
Even though he's alive. This saddens me.

And Werd you didn't failed your Mother.. Don't even think that!!!
I believe the Parent is the one that failed.

I'm glad you have your daughters. And I'm sure they know you love them very much.

Thank you Pamela... you know the sitch w/my kids' dad... but it's all good. I wrote my daughter a really mushy bday card - straight talk from my heart, told her to read it later when she was alone. I basically told her that I was so proud and pleased to have had the honor and privilige to be her and her siblings' mom... that no matter how confusing and scary life seems it needn't be for the simple fact that we have each other; always did - ALWAYS WILL. Told her that she was a great kid and now I revel in the opportunity to watch her grow into a fine young woman - which I do.

I took her and her siblings and their cousins out for a birthday dinner. Talk about your walking side show LOL - one small adult (that was the size of the kids) with 6 kids ages 12 down to 4!!! HEhehehehee We had a nice time "practising our manners as ladies and gentlemen"! We will all celebrate later on when I have them; maybe go to an amusement park or the salon to "get our nails done".

Thanks for asking Pamela. My kids looked so pretty!! I am ALWAYS so proud to be with them. :)
