I Just Bought Some Zinc, Need Answers.

I just got some zinc from gnc. I know gnc is not the best choice, but they had it cheap. I bought the chelated at 50mgs and 100 caps for $3.50. I know zinc can be toxic at high doses. I want to know what's the most i can safely take a day? Is it ok to take 150mgs a day?

NO, way too much.

Assuming your diet is average, no need to go over 30mg supplemental zinc/day. 15mg, probably what the package recomends, is fine.
 
As long as you take it without calcium (or even better on empty stomache) 50mg should be plenty. I have been taking it for about a month at that dose and it seems to help.
 
I take it at 50mg a day. Love it. At $3.50 for a 100 tablet bottle, it's the supplement that gives me the most "BANG" for a buck by far. I get great wood on it. YEEEHAAA.;)

Be careful of taking zinc on and empty stomach, you my puke or at least feel like it.
 
Look on the bottle of your mega men multi vitimins to see how much zinc that they contain, your brand may vary from my flintstones multi.
 
I take 45mg ED just before bedtime, must say it's VERY hard taking a piss in the middle of the night/morning..

I hear ya! Last month I ate a shitload of spinach before bed and took 40gs of zinc (I know zinc on an empty stomach and spinach contains calcium). About an hour later I was puking that green crap everywhere!!! Never again.
