Understood. However I would bet post surgery you were told to take anti-inflamaries and do some physical therapy. While physical therapy is always a good idea for rehabilitation and its goal is to increase stength etc, the anti-inflamatories, as mentioned greatly reduce healing. Its not uncommon at all for people who have had surgery seek out prolo afterwords to help speed recovery. The injections cause some localized swelling at the tendons/ligaments themselves, its not like they will blow your whole knee up. The swlling makes the joint a little stiff for a few days and you can literally feel the tightening effect right away.jerkbox said:well, in my case surgery was unavoidable....my ACL was completely gone, and I also had a huge meniscus tear...right down the middle of my meniscus.
What I can say is after doing my homework and having lesser inuuries treated by prolo that werent solved with time or conventional methods prolo worked much faster and much better. If I was ever in a position where I had a tear and had to see a surgeon, right after surgery I would head to my prolo doc for followup advice.
