Ok, I am a big fan of doing heavier and heavier deadlifts... But recently I was not being able to keep up...

I think that the main problem here is finding WHEN to deadlift (with all muscles required not being sore) and what kind of workout split to have.... When I deadlift either my legs or my lower back is slightly sore (from squats on other days)

My current routine is'

Monday chest+shoulders
Tuesday - Legs
Thursdayu - back and deadlifts....

What should I do? If I move SQUATS to other day of the week (ex monday) then I would have sore lowerback when doing legs (it takes my lower back 4-7 days to recover). If I put back day AFTER leg day then I would have sore legs and deads won't go very nice... Or if my leg day will be after back day, then my lower back would not be in it strongest to do deads...

My ideas

Monday: Chest + shoulders
Thursday: Back, Legs, Deads

Or

Monday: Chest + shoulders
tuesday:Back
Thursday: Legs, lower back

ANy ideas? what should I do?

Reply please!

thanks

My deadlift day is two days after legs, same as yours, I find my legs are somewhat sore but once I warm up I don't notice it, I'm presently deadlifting in the mid 400's for sets of 5 and by the time I've done my 2nd warm up set I don't feel any soreness any more

If you ultimate goal is to raise your deadlift, you should not train deadlift very often. Replace it with heavy good mornings or partial deadlifts.

I would deadlift FIRST on thursdays, the rest of your back workout will feel "light" after pulling those big deads. I personally just hit some rows and chins after pulling, all I can take.

do it like this!:
