So just how much percent does diet represent in a cutting cycle? my question is asked because I will be doing a cutting cycle, with var and test, and I wonder if my diet has to be 100% strict? if I brake just a bit, will it mess up my whole cycle? or you can cheat once in a while, let's say have pizza or a burger once a week for example?

The stricter your diet, the better your results. Simple as that. The occasional cheat meal here and there won't derail your progress completely but the stricter you are with your diet, the faster you will see results.

I would limit your cheat meals to once per week. The occasional cheat meal while on a diet is actually beneficial because it will restore leptin levels and keep the metabolism firing on all cylinders. The key is to not overdo the meal and not have cheat meals more then once per week. I have seen competitors undo an entire weeks worth of work when they go crazy and have a cheat meal like it's their last meal on earth.

Here is an article where I talk about cheat meals in depth: https://www.needtobuildmuscle.com/bodybuilding-blog/2015/01/17/cheat-meals/

Diet is 100%.

Gear is 100%.

Training is 100%.

What I would do is follow a strict diet and have a nice cheatmeal once a week. That way you can replenish yourself physically and mentally. But if you start binge-eating - you are on the wrong path.

i like that attitude.

it is just like anything else in life. if you put in 50% you will get 50% results.

this is a lifestyle..

One cheat meal per week is not going to ruin your whole plan......it will just make it take a little longer to achieve your goals. If this one meal is what keeps you on track then go for it. Consistency is the most important thing.

Diet is essential in any steroid cycle, and no matter the compounds you will take if you do not follow a proper diet. Therefore, you should always pay a very close attention to this aspect of your lifestyle, and keep diet in check if you want good results. It is very hard to say in percentual manner how much the diet matters, but it does - big time.
