I got my Master's today!!!!

I'll be the 1st to say it:

congrats.. when do you start teaching??

jk..

congrats, my wife has a masters degree.. carried a 4.0 24 credits, part time job, and a teachers aid..

dont know how she did it..

I am not sure if this would be the same in the US, but a lot of unis in the UK offer one year courses for people to get the the qualifications they need to go on to do their degree.

You can also do it through distance learning/open university.

People often love going back to school when they want to, rather than HAVING to.
 
Congratulations~~! For some reason, I thought you were already working on your PhD., though... It must be the wealth of knowledge that you share with us here!

I work in a medical lab, so now I could get a senior scientist post.

My degree was part-time as well while I worked full-time, my undergraduate the same, but with three part-time jobs.

Do you really want me to go into how women can do this? :biggrin:

I think I could teach in a few places, I do look at other jobs every now and then.

I vote for a "Fitness" shoot of you in your hat and gown!! Or at least one so we can see the hideous er I mean wonderful colors and outfit and praise you even more!!

Cut paste write what you would like, copy the next quote edit your post paste second quote then post up. It's a bit on the slow side but it works.DAMN!!! If I had a brain I would have realized you already figured that out....
 
Congrats TAT, I Don't Have a Masters but i have two Technical Diplomas,I Know the hard work involved, I graduated at the top of my class in both.

Indeed...I'm currently finishing my Masters- it will be my 4th degree- as well as running a business while juggling school, and it's tough for sure- but I can't even imagine how hard it must be to attain an MS in Bio-chemistry....props to ya Tat :)
