I'm selfish I know...I'd build a beautiful home in the mountains complete with a fully functioning "play" dungeon. A girl's gotta have some fun :chomp:
s & m has always been associated with smart people

do you think you would "change"? would you become a classist? how would it effect your life? lots of people say they wanna be rich, but is has been my experience, very few really want it.

use that money to make $800k/year+.

then reach a level where you dumb-down the processes to monkey-work - then hire smart people to do most of this work.

then you sit back and work 4 months a year and watch over everything. This is what real rich people do when they've "made" it.

i would spend more money and have nicer things.

Is that money I make while still working? or like winning a lottery?

If it was my income from a job, then I'd work for 5 more years saving every bit of it that I could.

Then buy some land far far secluded, build me a house and retire from society by living there growing my own food and have solar/hydroelectric power.

I could live off the interest my money would be drawing from the bank. Plus it's also there for emergencies.

That's my dream and regardless if I ever get that much money I will be doing it someday.

hmmmmmm........I want to say more charity work blah blah blah.....I would be a Specialzed S-works roda bike and tour the counrty.......yep that is it

As some of you know, a couple of months ago I was struggling with this decision.

While I make very much above average and what some would call an enormous about of money, I had the opportunity to make twice that in the $700-$800K range per year. ($505K was guranteed).

However, to accomplish this, it would require a move to Palm Springs. That would require some changes in my life, not just related to scenery as my partner would never come to P.S. with me. It would also lead me to cancel the plans he and I had for becoming foster parents as well.

On one side, I could effectively retire in 4-5 years and still have staggered commission coming in for another 6-8 years or so. (depending on the length of the contracts that various hospitals signed.)

On the other side, I would effectively severe a big portion of my life. If I were single and carefree, this would be a no brainer and I would be posting from P.S. right now.

It's not enough to do what I want to do......... but if handled correctly it could be turned into it fast enough. I don't say much about it 'cause it seems like when I do... doesn't happen.
