How was arnold only 230 lbs?

that's because bb'rs today are roided out freaks. Arnold was a genetic masterpiece. He could look bulk and amazing and STILL run a mile or two or start in action films shooting bad guys.

Today's bbr's couldn't run 10 meters with all that weight.

Levrone was a hell of an athlete.

So is Phil Heath.

Kai Greene too.

Wtf are you smoking?

before they put on those extra 100lbs of muscle. Not that these guys aren't athletes but let's be real, they're not functional anymore except for one thing. When you're 5'9 and weigh 300+ pounds your 40 time ain't gonna turn any scouts heads.

40 time for the NFL is a meaningless metric anyway.

Insulin and absurd GH is the difference between todays bodybuilders and BB's of Arnold's era.

depends on the position. For lineman it's almost completely irrelevant, LB'ers barely relevant...but for positions like WR, RB, DB...those guys stretch their legs for at least 40 yds on nearly every play during a game. I would like to see the guys at the combine have to run multiple 40's with enough time in between that you get in a real game. Let's see these guys run 4 or 5 back to back 4.3's. Ain't gonna happen.

I'd also like to see them toss the 225 bench...that's the most meaningless metric of all. Have them bull rush a 340lb sled, see who does it the fastest.
