I'm currently on a 1,800 kcal a day diet.. I try to eat VERY healthy food so that I can have a lot of it.. I am hoping this will give me a ~500 kcal a day deficit. Tommorrow is my sister's birthday, and the family is going out to The Old Spaghetti Factory. I love that place.. especially its mezithra cheese dish.. tons of cheese, butter, and pasta! yummm. I am willing to minimize the damage by eating a smaller portion than normal, but I am definetly going to indulge and it's going to be a whopping lot of calories. Should I cut back the rest of my calories for the day (or throughout the week) to compensate? I am nervous doing that because my nutrition is going to be pitiful if I do that. Would it be better if I just accepted that my fat loss will be slowed because of this indulgence?
While I can stick to a pretty saint-like plan regularly, I'm not going to stick to it for the rest of my life. I need a way to deal well with those inevitable indulgences. Thanks
