ok, so i am meeting up with this guy in about 3 weeks (not a date date but a "friend" date) and I am looking at this as an opportunity to 'get him'. I have known him for awhile and I am seriously attracted to him (personality wise as well as looks). I want him! However, my dilema is I don't know how to go about it. I think there is some sexual tension between us but that could just be me Guys, what subtle clues could he have been giving me to show that he likes me? How do i find out if he likes me without making an ass of myself? What subtle clues can i give him? I don't want to just come out and say i am like totally in love with him because if he doesn't somewhat reciprocate it could make things awkward. There is one other reason why I need to be careful in this situation: age. There is a relatively large age difference (not like he could be me father or anything like that) I have gone out with guys his age before but i just need to be sure he is totally cool with it.

Any advice or personal experiences would be totally awesome and help me out a lot.

With the ammount of info you just gave us it is hard to say.

The way I look at it is. If you find yourself to be attractive as well, I can almost guarentee you the thought of having sexual relations with you has crossed his mind. Just tell him how you feel.

Many times females give these very subtle "inviting" clues to a male . These clues nearly always contain some "escape hatch" for the female , so the guy only finds out if he takes the bait and still he risks the change of the girl saying to him "What you think you are doing GEEK". Some proud macho guys (like me) choose often not to take an ambiguous bait (unless i am loaded with GHB than i don't fucking care , i run them over like a diesel train no matter what)

I don't particuly like these games and I can ALWAYS appreciate a female who plays her card open on the table. Even if i am not in love with her , she will always be my friend for her cool attitude....

I don't know where you have this "friends date", but i suggest that if things get very friendly that you two go to some wild club where you two can get yourself a bit drunk and physical or even SURPRISE this dude by taking him to some lapdance joint. If you are the kind the kind of girl that can appreciate female beauty as well, you get yourself a lapdance too hehe.

thanks for the posts guys, I'm totally going to go for him. I consider myself attractive but I don't really know what guys think. I think i have a really pretty face (i have long, curly hair, awesome complextion) but i am a little self conscious of my body. I have been an athlete all my life (my favorite sport is rugby) and i am very fit and certainly have muscles. However, I have tried unsucessfully over the past year to drop BF % to show off my muscles. I have become obessed with it and it's making me unsure of my image to guys. It's not like i'm huge or anything but i am not barbie! These are my measurements: 5'10", BF about 24% (ahh i wish it was closer to 14%!!!! , 36/38DD, 30 waist, 38 hips. Anyway, i know he likes athletic women, so that plays to my advantage.

I am in the midst of chosing something sexy and i am trying to arrange us going somewhere with drinks because if i was drunk i would have no problem expresing my feelings! Damn i wish we were going to an overnight (tenting) rugby kegger!

I don't know if I would have the confidence to come out and say my feelings but if i gave very STRONG signals (w/o using words *~) ) do you think he would make a move? i REALLY wish he would make a move so i know he is interested!
