How to aspirate

Hey guys, i'm new to all this and just wanted to get a bit of info on some stuff.
I am about to start a cycle of injections and was just wondering if someone could give me a good description on how to aspirate correctly, i'm having trouble finding good information online.
If someone could post a video of how it's done(I know that's a bit much but again I can't find one online) that would be great.

I was also wondering what could happen if i don't aspirate correctly, or at all.

There is a lot of injection information near the bottom but you would be served well to read the thread in its entirety.

There are TONS of videos online just search for IM injections. A lot of men having videos of injecting in different sites and even women performing progesterone shots.

What specifically are you referring to by "not aspirating correctly"? Are you talking about when you are attempting to see if blood enters the syringe? Or when you are drawing the liquid in the syringe pre-pin?

To aspirate simply means to give a very small backward pull on the syringe plunger. You will typically see an air bubble but you may see a drop of blood instead. If you see the latter pull out and repin somewhere else.
You dont wanna shoot a load of oil and compound directly into a vein, the results are not good.....
