How to add more calories?

Okay, I am currently soing Madcow's 5x5 routine. I'm 5 weeks in and have not put on any BW. I am doing the program correctly, just no weight gain. I prefer lean bulking and watch my appearance and the scale somewhat as well. I do not mix fats and carbs and don't go too crazy with the carbs. I've already added an extra tbs of EFA's to my protein/fat meals. Should I add more protein now or add some EFA's to one or two of my carb meals? I don't want to add any more carbs, as then i tend to get fatter as opposed to bigger. Anyone have any thoughts?

MILK, try skim or 1%, cheap good calories, or lots of cottage cheese...browse around on the diet bored to see what to do

I agree...depending on 'metab' go for plenty of diary protein....as ripped2shredds said, plenty of skimmed milk. high in protein and low in fat - you cant go wrong

Add another small meal to your diet using appropriate ratios. (Same as other meals)

When in doubt, eat protein.

slyder, routines are not the same for everyone, some people get better results from higher reps, personally, i go to 8-10, i tried 5X5 and i dint liek it...so play around with your work out
