how much time do your muscles need to recover on a cycle?

Gymbob said:
I was thinking about this, but if you hit bodyparts twice a week on cycle and then cut down to only once when the cycle ended would'nt this cause more of a crash than usual? Possibly loosing more gains than you would normally due to the much lower workload.

What does everyone else think?

no you wouldn't because you would be optimizing recovery. after your cycle, you're supposed to work out less because your muscles don't recover as fast.

I use the same six day rotation on or off. Just when I'm on I tend to lift heavier and squezze in a few drop sets to get a great pump.

It would be great to do a poll where only real BB's voted on how many times per week they train body parts while on AS. Only bad thing is a bunch of 150 pounders would mess the poll up...

if you are taking a good amount of roids in the cycle then you dont have to worry about your overtraining...

as long as you r eating lots.

there is no such thing as overtraining, only undereating.

Everyone is different, for myself when I am on juice (I`ve only done Fina a few times), I may be able to train each group twice a week...but instead I just add a set on a few exercises because it is difficult for me to overtrain.

Normally I can only workout 4 days per week, but when I`m am "on" I can do 5 days no prob.

Maybe a decent idea would be to do a split where you take your weakest bodypart and train that twice a week.

ah yes..which brings me to my next question...if you begin to consume more food during a cycle (when the EQ kicks in), you could then in effect increase the volume of your training along with the increased food intake. Does this not make sense?

Problem is if you use any type of compound movements. For example you train shoulders and do military presses on day one.
Day two is chest with press type movements. Then on day three you hit tris--- well that would be using your tris for three days in a row. Even though each time might not be to faliure its still using that muscle. You even used front delts for two days in a row.

Hey, what you got against 150 pounders?

If there is no such thing as over training, take your ass to the gym and do chest 5 days in a row with the same weight.
