how much time do your muscles need to recover on a cycle?

Ok lets put the record straight here. I read all these articles, detailing the "perfect" workout, usually rotating muscle groups so as to train each muscle group one time per week. But they never mention anything about steroids, which leads me to believe that a muscle group can be trained more than once per week while on juice, seeing as recovery from hypertrophy is greatly increased on roids. Maybe these articles allready assume that your on roids (which I doubt), but then what about when you're not? I vaguely remember an article (kicking myself right now because I can't find it) mentioning that recovery time on roids is reduced to about 2 days or so. So lets put it straight here...On the average (not taking into account individual ideosyncratic differences), can you not train a muscle group more than once per week on roids?

will some people can hit some muscle groups 2 times a week with your roids and still get good gainz...you can hit some muscle groups 2 times a week on roids and there still is a chance of you overtraining but if you are taking a good amount of roids in the cycle then you dont have to worry about your overtraining...some people are very juiced up where they can hit 20-30sets on bis...thats when you are juiced to the max...but everyone is different..see if it works for you,you have notthing to lose

You train more intensely while on gear therefore you tax the muscle more even though your recovery rate is better. Most people still get the best gains with training each bodypart once a week.:)

Once a week for me whether on or off gear.
I also take into account that my joints may not recover as fast as my muscles so I stick to once per week.

I was thinking about this, but if you hit bodyparts twice a week on cycle and then cut down to only once when the cycle ended would'nt this cause more of a crash than usual? Possibly loosing more gains than you would normally due to the much lower workload.

What does everyone else think?

I say mix it up and find out what works best for you.

For me. If I am wanting to put on mass. Then I work out no more than 45 minutes - 3 times a week. Yes only an hour and a half per week. I get great gains this away.

When I am cutting though sometimes I will work out smaller muscle groups 2 times a week. Like bi's tri's and calves.

People Greatly under estimate rest, when it comes to bodybuilding.

Exactly.

There's no way to know how much your body can handle, unless you try it... first maybe change from working each body part once a week, to working each body part twice every 10 days... See how your body reacts, are you sore? Weak? More tired that usual? Then if you see better results like this, then try and make the step up to twice every 7 days. I personally workout every other day, doing cardio and abs on the off days. I see amazing results with this compared to back in the day when I would overtrain, but that's just me... a lot of people can get away with (and maybe see ever better gains) doing each bodypart twice a week.
