How Much Does Everybody Spend On Supplements?

JUICESEEKER

I am not talking about gear. I mean supplements like creatine, protein powders, multivitamins, ala, etc, on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis? I have heard of some pro bodybuilders spending as much as $10,000 a year on supplements alone!

Probably on an average I'd have to say somewhere between $100 & $200 a month some months more than others, especially when on cycle. It seems like I have a package coming from DPSNutrition damn near every week.

Too much. Like $200 canadian easily, seeing as how I go through about 5lbs of protein powder weekly.

I will be spending between 1500-2000 on Protein/creatine for my next run.For me,supplementation is every bit as important as the anabolics, probably more so.

Nathan, you must have a real good job - being able to afford all that protein on top of your 'always-increasing gay-porn collection'.

Me personally, I use to go all out on buying supplements. Now I just buy the essentials (protein powder, Creatine, and some Glutimine). then I spend the rest on gear and all the anti's that goes with it. So I'd say roughly $50/month on just supplements.

I just spent 200$ in my health food store......Flax,Sesame Oil, Protein, Bcaa's, ALA,ephedrine,2 magazines, melatonin and a case of Speed Stack drinks........

It's not so much the gay porn that bleeds my wallet dry, it's paying for your mom's daily genital laser hair-removal. Ever since she caught me porking your sister or cousin or whoever the fuck it was, she has had me on a tight leash in return for my continued banging of your female relatives.

I just buy the protein powder now. I used to buy everything on the shelf and spend $200+ a month easy.
But I would much rather spend $25 on a bottle of liquid d-bol, you get a lot more for your money.

Also... IMO I think most guys take too much protein... Your body can only absorb so much and you get a lot just from foods that you eat.

I have even emailed Designer Protein... they say 1 - 2 scoops is the most anyone should take per day.
I don't think taking more will hurt you AND its not that expensive, so maybe we are trying to be safe instead of sorry by taking too little.
Any way, just my opinion... maybe this belongs in a new thread?

I hear ya brother! I would much rather get my protein from real foods (which I do now) as opposed to a lot of protein shakes. I only take 2 shakes a day. The rest is from Chicken, tuna, steak, hamburger, etc.....

Thanks but did you perhaps not read my rebuttal concerning your mother?

Oh, I just thought you were being serious. I mean my sister is a slut (I'm not joking). But how'd you know about the hair removal therapy? And BTW, it's weekly, not daily!

I would say about $150/month for Protein, Glutamine, Bars, Flax, Multivitamins, and Dymetadrine.
