Where you from? Your sickly under paid. My sister is a elementary school teacher and makes 80k a year in ny and she's 26
my mom taught for 30 yrs and topped out at that amount.
locality bro, nyc 80k is 50k in other parts

True. She's 30 mins north of NYC and will top out at 120k. Smh I shoulda been a teacher lol. Make a buck 20 and get summers off lol not baddd

I have 12 years in the district I'm in. In Ohio at least your locked into your district if you have more than three years because other districts have to pay u based on your experience. In Ohio every school district is struggling to find money and they will not hire teachers with a lot more experience.
