Just wondering how many women and men are losing control of thier low carb diets due to all of the holiday goodies at work now that you have to walk by all day long without being tempted. Please be honest people I am asking so my GF does not feel alone regarding this subject. thanks L2L

opps sorry mods meant to leave the c out of the subject :D . Oh well accidents happen and we are all adults here right?

I'm lapsing here and there ; but make up for it by pushing my arse a little harder in the gym, after a major binge . I punish myself by sweating a little more :)

Nope. Clean as a whistle here - only cheat I've had in a month is one chocolate-covered almond. (But then - I only have 2 moderately low carb days out of four, since I'm not cutting right now ... sorry!)

I can guarantee, though, that come Christmas day - I am going to eat whatever the *uck I like - assuming I can force myself past my irrational terror of what that might do to my insides. (very obsessive-compulsive - OMG I fear for cutting season) AAaaack! :insane: :insane: :insane:

Here's to seasonal GOODIES!!!

F**k, you caught me.

I've been a garbage receptacle for the past 2 days. I can FEEL the grease and carbs flowing through my veins to female fat deposit areas.

F**k F**k F**k:mad:

:bawling: had an episode yesterday at work...my boss gave me a big basket of chocolate (does the man not see me eating boiled chicken and broccoli every freaking day???)

So I did lots 'o cardio last night to make myself feel better...

Chronic low carb restricted diets are f**ked up in my opinion. Adding carbs (even a few holiday treats here and there) would be unf**king the diet for a few days. Gotta have some carbs here and there to keep metabolism up.

"does the man not see me eating boiled chicken and broccoli every freaking day???"

Hell, I'd buy you a pint of regular double choc chip ice cream so you could carb up and be less miserable for a day.

Come on everyone, lighten up a little. What you think might be hurting you (a few days of eating, but not binging on holiday treats) won't mean shit over the long run body composition wise and will likely give you a boost for a few heavy workouts this next week.

Some of you are falling into the same trap they do over on the thin board with this total food control concept.

"So I did lots 'o cardio last night to make myself feel better..."

See what I mean.......

Thank you W6!! Thank you. I've been sitting here this morning kicking my ass for having all of 3 little cookies yesterday. Considering that I did an hour of cardio, an hour of weights, and ate incredibly well in general yesterday, it seems silly for 3 cookies to make me mad at myself.

I'm psyched because somebody brought in venison today-- and that stuff is SO high in protein and low in fat. I've much enjoyed the veggie trays at work too. It's Christmas, I want some treats. It's not like I'm going to be surrounded by food like this all the time. All things considered, I'm doing pretty damn well.

It's very hard for me not to focus on food as I've spent most of my life doing so. I'm training my body to eat again and I've done a 180º on my diet in the past few weeks. I'm not only eating, but I'm almost completely eating clean. I feel better, have more energy, and am better off. Just my 2 cents...though I'm planning on cleaning up my diet even more after the holidays.

Well it is Xmas.....she is entitled to pig out. It'll do her good to stop denying herself what she wants for a few days.

I know a lady who is on a stupid strict diet and is gonna stick with it over Xmas. I used to behave like this too.....then I realised life is for living (which is why I am always on this site lol). All power to people that have the commitment to stick with it no matter what.....but it is kinda obsessive.

I see no reason to feel guilty for indulging in some special treats. That's why I built this muscle - to burn calories (any calories)! By telling myself I can have whatever, I'll save myself for the good stuff. BUT I also make sure I eat my regular healthy meals TOO. I'll still might eat the good stuff, but a lot less of it. That way I don't feel deprived, which is usually what leads to a binge.

The only people who should feel guilty are those who indulge all year long, and then make a big to-do about "breaking their diet" during the holidays.
