I have no idea how open/embarassed about personal stuff she is w/ you.....

So if you're too embarassed to tell someone, is it better to just give it to them instead of saying anything?? BS!

I think I've had one before. Must have gone away on it's own.

If you eat a yogurt containing live acidophilus each day you are taking the antibiotics you will not get one.

As a side note, in case ya'll didnt know that taking antibiotics can also interfere with the effectiveness of oral contraception.

You take antibiotics for a yeast infection? That doesn't make sense. Antibiotics are for STD's which are bacteria, not yeast.

No antibotics can cause yeast infections.

My dad's in the hospital with a yeast infection in his esophagus and stomach.

That is really bullshit.
Why do you spread your ignorance (or stupidity) around?
You don't give 'yeast infection' to any one. It's candida - a fungus that is always there on your skin.
In normal, healthy men, there is no such condition as 'yeast infection' of urethra.
Do a google search on candidiasis, Einstein!

I did a search in which I found that a yeast infection can be transfered to your partner whether it's male or female. So yes you can give a yeast infection to someone. You're obviously the one who's ignorant you fuckin retard. Read the posts of all the females on this thread who agree it can be transfered.

And it said that candida was a yeast. http://www.yeastconnection.com/about.html

Someone would have to be a real fuckhead to be such a dick while being wrong. Makes you look like twice the idiot.

Review of Medical Microbiology & Immunology\
9th Edition, 2006

Warren Levinson, MD, PhD,
Professor of Micribiology
Deptt of Medical Microbiology and Immunology
University of California San Francisco

Chapter 50 (page 346)

OPPORTUNISTIC MYCOSIS:
Opportunistic fungi fail to induce disease in most immunocompetent persons but can do so in those with impaired host defenses.

CANDIDA:

Transmission:
It is a member of the normal flora, it is already present on the skin and mucous membranes. It is therefore, not transmitted. ...

Pathogenesis & Clinical Findings:

Vulvovaginitis with itching and discharge is favored by high pH, diabetes or use of antibiotics.
* My Explanatrion: Normally vaginal secretions are acidic and supressess candida. If it becomes alkaline, that favors candida overgrowth. Yogurt is acid: will increase acidity. Cranberry juice is acidic: Will increase acidity. Diabetes suppresses body's immunity. Antibiotics kills good bacteria (lactobacilli) of vagina, which favors the overgrowth of yeast. On skin, moisture and warmth favors candida overgrowth - under breasts in hot weather - especially if you have big ones. Skin folds in obese people, etc)
book continues:
Skin invasion occurs in warm, moist areas, which become red and weeping. Fingers and anils becokme involved when repeatedly immersed in water; persons employed as dishwshers in restaurants and institutions are commonly afected. ...

It is saturday night. In next day or so, I will post a more clinical response.

The fact is candida is a fungus that is every where: in your mouth, on your skin, in vagina in women. When conditions are favorable, IT OVERGROWS and causes symptoms. IT IS NOT, NOT, NOT, A SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE.

I never said it was an STD, it's a yeast infection. And it can be transmitted sexually. Quit trying to hide the facts you douchebag. Did you ever think of the fact that conditions become favorable when someone who has the infection has sex with someone else? I've read about 25 pages that I googled that said it can be transmitted through sex. BTW, where in your study does it say that the male genetalia cannot be infected? It doesn't! Everything I've read says it can.

BTW, this study is in regards to the vagina. I'm not disagreeing that it is already present in the vagina, but when it becomes an infection, it is transmittable to the male sex organ. This study does nothing for your case.

So if I stick my member in a tub of Dannon's prior to attacking a poon that has a yeast infection, am I, like, wearing body armor?

I've been alternating plain yogurt with monistat on the tip for 2 days. It's pretty much gone, and so is she!
