I do it all the time...just keep active. I don't do active recovery like they do it in the sticky, I just take a week off from training totally and just keep active...play sports, swim, etc...
I have next week off while I’m on holiday, great I thought, not even the temptation of the gym, because I really need the break to recharge. Now I just found out that the hotel has a health club right by the pool, its going to be tough to stay away…
I took 2 weeks off after hurt my lower back, got really lazy and didn't do anything. I just worked out again today, thinking I'd still be strong, and had the worst workout I can ever remember. Was completed weak. Hopefully next week will go better.
