It really is a lot of the same stuff... It's hard to describe, but a guy does experience some huge shifts in his biochemistry. There are a lot of studies that look at how a man's hormone levels shift over the course of a relationship. A guy in a mature relationship, when presented with "strange" can really experience some dramatic changes in his hormone levels.
