the whole protein thing is so overblown in the industry. people are convinced they gotta have protein all day and night or their muscles will dissapear. complete buffoonery
your body does not store amino acids. You need to consume all the essential amino acids on a daily basis or your body will catabolize muscle tissue to get the needed amino acids
It is actually really difficult to lose noticeable muscle just by not eating enough protein. You could not eat for days and probably look bigger just by the body fat you lost.
