How many calories?

How many calories would my cousin need to consume for a decent bulk? He is currently 5'3" 123lbs and entering his second week of his Super-DMZ cycle. He has only gained 2lbs so far and eats approximately 3000-3200 calories a day.

at 5'3" i hope hes over 24 or he just fucke dhim self up from growing any taller.

how old is he?

I'd prefer you just answer the question instead. But if you don't know the answer, that's ok too.

That's a little bit rude. Most people on here will not provide any advice unless you supply an age and usually a body fat percentage.

If someone is looking to gain more weight than they should eat more than they already are consuming: calories in, calories out.

Age is a huge factor here and for when you give a smart ass answer to the age question that pretty much makes certain you're not going to get any help. If you're talking aboutn a 14 year old kid and he's 5'3 and 124lbs I'd say he just needs to add 250 cals to what he's eating right now. He'll grow when puberty tells him to grow. If he's 25, the answer would be completely different. Just come with your questions with more respect and remember, you're the one looking for an answer, you're not owed an answer.
As a side note, a guy that weighs 123lbs running gear is an utter joke. He just needs to eat and grow to a respectable size where he at least looks like he works out before hitting anything stronget than creatine.

Exactly, they would need a solid base to work off of before they even consider hormones.

First of all, what I said was a rebut from someone making assumptions about my post. That's not rude? How about don't answer or just ask instead of insinuating the user is too young to take. Then you lecture how he is too small to take anything? How about you're being a rude ass.

He is 23. He has been lifting for 6 months and diets hard. He is a hard gainer. And yes, he has lifted on and off. So if you don't want to give a general answer then don't give any. But don't lecture me either about proper forum etiquette.

Your stay here will likely be short with that attitude but I'll give an answer for your cousin. He's only been working out for 6 months and other than that he's been sporadic, right? How the heck can he possibly know he's a hard gainer? He hasn't worked out long enough to know how he gains. I'll leave the drug comments alone because he's going to do what he's going to do regardless of how stupid it may be. As for calories, he's likely in the ballpark at 3200 - he's already consuming about 25x his body weight. If he's not growing I'd look at his training and the macro breakdown and see if that is a problem. If his training is in check and he's really getting 3200 cals per day, I'd bump by 500 and he'll certainly grow (if he's maintaining and even slightly growing at 3200, it is impossible for him to not grow at 3700 cals). The reason people ask for stats is to get a full picture on their head of the overall picture. Age, BF%, training history, goals, etc are all part of that picture and when you paint it clearly, you'd be surpised at the quality answers you'll get. I could say, "he needs to eat 5000 cals" but what if he's 20% body fat? The my advice for 5000 cals would be crap advice and would only make him fatter. as for forum etiquette, you can choose to interact any way you wish, it's the frickin internet. But by playing nice, you'll get tons of help and if I'm not mistaken, helpful answers are what you came for.

Giving out advice when it's not asked for is fine if you don't judge.

"at 5'3" i hope hes over 24 or he just fucke dhim self up from growing any taller.

That's the post you're defending? Give me a break.

As for your answer, it was exactly what I was looking for. So thank you.
