How long have you been training?

I did soccer for years and track then basketball. At 14 I started weight training in Jr high in Greeley then I quit weights till last year when I met my trainer and his wife :)

Started in Feb '03 at age 19 about 3 months before I joined EF. I'd had problems with drugs in high school, went to a federal women's prison at 18 for drug related stuff, and came out committed to getting myself straight in every way.

I started lifting weights when I was 14 not serious I did like buns of steel video's for a year or so. The next year I got hurt and had to sit out soccer season so I strated using weights more in the school gym then I joined a real gym. There was many bumps a long the way falling on and off the wagon until about 23 got body for life fell in love with lifting. Around 24 I meet the only training partner I have really had he was a powerlifter he taught me so many many things. So I guess you can say all total 16 years every year I learn something new about myself and my body dam thing keeps changing on me when I think I have it all figured out. :)

In HS I swam, ran track, and played softball at various times. In college I did crew, which required an extremely high level of power endurance, so lifting in the offseason was a big thing.

Nice. My son just got done with track (first year middle school). They had their district meet last week Sat. His team got 2nd in the 800 relay.

Never heard of crew. What is that? So this sport led you to serious weight lifting and bodybuilding?

Yeah you are right! Our bodies are always changing! I guess that is a good thing, but so funny, you say you learn your body and what it can do and what it can't...then it changes on you. Dang! haha

Just passed the 3 year mark for serious training. Played a lot of sports in high school and college and then got really really fat....and now....weight lifting! In a way, the gym kind of saved me. :)

That is awesome! And look at you now! Wow!
