how long does it take for fat to show up?

okay - say I'm at some percent bodyfat, and then diet and do dnp and get down to a much lower percent.

how fast is it possible to get the fat back? are we talking days, weeks, months, years?

I'm just curious how long it takes to get fat, and once the effort is made to get it off, how hard it is to keep it off.
it is hard for me to visualise since all of my life I've been running 70+ miles a week up until fairly recently, so I've never really had much bodyfat until more recently (now I'm just a fat fuck - hee hee).

enquiring minds want to know
 
At a smaller level than we could notice or realize, it's probably happening all the time.
Your body wants to store fat all day, every day.
Unless your one of those 15 yr old kids that can eat crap all damn day and still be a skinny ass.

Every weekend when/If I cheat eat, I can always feel it for sure Monday morning.
That's probably why My Gym is packed on Monday mornings..
 
I eat clean all week and then on weekends I eat only ice cream and sometimes pizza.
Monday morning, I'm fucking ripped as hell, but I have zits.
All the other days I'm tired and don't look so great, kind of puffy.

explain that one...

I know exactly what you mean! Friday night's used to be my cheat night. My roommate and I would order in dinner - something incredibly greasy like pizza or Chinese. When I would check my bf on Friday nights using the Tanita, it was always 2-3% lower than any other night of the week. Maybe what that means is that some people can only lose weight by dieting, but the lucky few can only lose weight by eating unhealthy fatty foods. The only thing we can know for certain is that Tanita scales are never wrong!
 
at a LOW bf % you should rebound double that in a matter of 14 days.

Say you're 5%,.....if you want to maintain that, you got to work hard. it isn't easy. that's why chances are you'll rebound QUICK and hard if you don't GRADUALLY increase to maintenance, or bulking cals . The trick is, be gradual.

my main weakness during my clean days (which aren't really all that clean) is that damn Chex Mix they have in my kitchen here at work.
bastards.
but at least they got an eletric can opener, so now I can start chowing tuna... that sounds dirty.

I wonder if it is that when you say you are eating clean, that it is below your cal needs. In doing so you may be dropping water because your body is consuming glyceron stores. Then when you benge, you look a little ripped but it is actually the water retension from your body storing fat, glyceron, and water.
I don't have that problem. I look fat Friday, then Monday morning, I look fat. Fuck:confused:
