I'm curious what the consensus is. This poll is mainly for vets and 'soljahs' who have been using gear for several years.

Please post after you vote.

put in my option
time on = time off
time on = time off + PCT

I can't say how much time off until I know time on for myself.

heh.

Ive done 4 cycles since in the last 5.5 years of my life. I've done 2 cycles in 1 year, with roughly 3 months inbetween and that is the shortest amount of downtime I have ever had.

it is: "the exact same amount of time of my cycle" is relatively the same as:
time on = time off

adding the pct time would be a bit redundant cause why would you go on cycle when you are pct'ing. is pct'ing a word? :worried:

I'm asking in the poll cause I seem to find myself cutting my time off closer and closer with every cyc and I'm concerned that I may not be giving myself enough time btw cycs.

Yeah, I missed that first option, but Time off + PCT is a valid choice. PCT = post cycle therapy (usually 4-6 weeks).

I found it optimal to at least do time on = time off + PCT, for your health and for your gains. You can do well naturally between cycles, really dial in your diet and change up your training. Lately, I have been taking more and more time off between cycles for health reasons. When time off wasn't sufficient, injuries hit me like a brick wall.

what kind of health reasons? from the gear?

example: 10 wks ON/ 10wks OFF

interesting. So right after PCT you start a new one Krish

No I mean I include it in my time off. So if I cycle for 15 weeks, I take 15 weeks of including pct. If pct is 5 weeks, I'm only totally clean from everything for 10 weeks.

most of the bros on here who dont take the full time off, wont admit it so ur not going to get many of them on this thread and its gunna give u messed up results...

ulter stays on year round.... ask him his theories

I don't really count weeks. I do PCT which is usually 4-6 wks in length chill out for awhile and train natural. After I discontinue the PCT meds for awhile and I feel healthy I get my gear for the next cycle and have it in advance then get back on again. I really go by how I feel and if it is a good time to cycle (distractions, trips, etc...).

then they aren't bros. no need to lie. The stats speak for themselves.

thats how usually how I have done it in the past. but lately its been like this for me:
Came off in Aug2005 (very light cycle), back on in Oct/Nov2005 (for a short cycle), back on again in Jan/Feb/March2006. Prob go back on again for a mass cyle in Summer. Its just too much fun :p

Time on + PCT = Time off

you have to keep in mind too that if you're running heavy AAS for a certain amount of time, you can still be feeling the effects for alot longer afterwards.... ie. people experience problems months after finishing their deca cycle and PCT (happened to me!).... so the above is a good estimate of how long to take off.... plus how you feel ... plus what your bloodwork says once you're "clean"

well it seems like all ur responses ur getting is time on= time off....and we all damn well know that not EVERYONE on here adheres to that rule.....they are not speaking up, whether they are bros... or not.... and plus just because someone doesnt adhere to that rule does not mean they dont know their shit...or are 'BAD' juicers

Bro you fine as long as you give your body time to achieve homeostasis. You look like a healthy guy, quite young to, so your body probly does not have a problem recovering. It's when you get older and older that you will have to worry about recovery issues, but by that time you probly will be on HRT TRT w/e. If you are in-tune with your body you can sense when you can go back on or when you need that extra month or so to get everything in order. Blood tests are a must to so you can actually see for a fact everything is good!

Yeh, Ill agree, happend to me but in a good way.... I came off a deca/sust/dbol cycle in feb. and I am still seeing more strenght gains?! But now that you say that, I know why..

As far as the PCT thing, Ive been doing the time on=time off and its going good. I thought everyone knew and did that?.

not everyone, but this does seem to be the most prevalent answer.

But I agree with you and muscleguy.... its amazing to see the effects of the gear still going strong long after the "last shot" ... especially with long esters like Sus. Hoping for similar effects with the Primo.

BTW, any know exactly how long Primo half life is?

I don't go by months or time on, but what my bloodwork results show. Whether I've been off a month or a year, if most everything is back to normal ranges I don't hesitate to start again.

bloodwork = smartest way to go. I shoulda put that down. thanks for updating nighthawk

8 weeeks is just about right for me....now i'm not coming off at all.....i'm bridging with HRT doses in between...
I'm an old bastard.....so there youngin's

by not going off, isn't that a sure road to a quick death????? i mean how do you not go off and live years and years with higher bp, and more stress on heart? im asking cause i don't know, im not telling or stating anything, im just curious how it's not fucking you up completely.

if it is fucking you up completely, like complete permanent shutdown lets say, i hope your getting paid top dollars for competing and modeling cause otherwise, i can't see what would make it worth it?

Would taking time on=time off be advantageous though? Let's say youre above your genetic limit/potential...by...eh...30lbs...and you come off for 8 weeks and go clean..even with perfect training, rest and nutrition...id imagine its inevitable that youll loose a good 5-8lbs of muscle...and then when you go back on...youre already one step behind...and if u go on for 8 weeks..it's only like 4 of those weeks youre actually getting ahead of your previous cycle...so why not just bridge in between on primo or low test amounts..aka something that doesnt really affect your blood panel...

anyone see what im saying here? But maybe im wrong..and maybe the muscle fascia stretches after the cycle...so once u go back on..you gain it back immediately..and only look smaller when youre actually off cycle...

how does it work with you guys? Let's hear it...

I just stay on year round. If done smart there"s nothing wrong with staying on. You do damage to your body by being irresponsible with gear or whatever else you put in it!!
