How keepable are the endurance gains from GW-50?

Just a quick and simple question. Obviously when you come off a drug, your performance will or go down a bit.. that is just the way it is. So how much do you lose when you come off of GW-50?

Before starting GW, I hated the idea of cardio.. running.. jogging.. any of it. I'd get ready to go for a run and quit before I got my shoes tied basically. Now I am almost 7 weeks in on GW, and I look forward to cardio. HIIT cardio/sprints are a breeze and I have been running 3-4 miles a few times a week with ease.

So when I come off of GW.. will I go back to hating cardio.. sucking air and quitting early every time I run, or will I find a happy medium between the two?

the thing is, the GW-50 allowed you what I consider a jump start on base training which means all the cardio work you did (provided you trained correctly) will stay. That said, you can continue to make leaps and bounds by staying on it. I did a month trial and I needed that little boost to get me training again.

There is literature (and from personal experience) some metabolic pathways are effectively remapped (burn fat not just glycogen)

If I could I would stay on all winter as start into hill training and HIIT...but $$ prevents that.

I am really (read my posts since 2007) a skeptic about anything that is not tried and true gear--Dylan took a flyer on me and I will back up every claim he makes (again, read my posts, I do that for very very few people)

Great post.

OP, you won't always keep it all but each time you use it, there's no reason you can't keep progressing. Like using aas, you won't keep every lb gained but you steadily make progress after each cycle. You have to keep workig hard off of the compounds as you would using them

cardio is like anything else with fitness.. you must take a step back to make 2 steps forward.. don't be stupid and try and set a PR every time you go out there or you will get hurt!! trust me i was an endurance athlete at one time and i was stupid and it cost me.

so yes come off the GW, give your body a break.. and then do another run of it.. but definately keep running during that time, but be SMART

and it sounds like you are putting in a lot of mileage so make sure you are investing in quality shoes, don't be running in worn out shoes or walmart shoes

Don't worry Steve.. my shoe game is off the hook. I got a different pair for each day of the week.. and special pairs for the holidays.

It's funny what you said about hurting yourself. I actually pulled my hamstring a couple days ago. The muscle is yellow and looks bruised, so you know it's for real. Hopefully it heals quickly so I can get back to cardio and legs.

That's pretty much what I figured happened, that you would find a happy medium. GW-50 has completely changed my perspective on cardio any a very short time. Shit's crazy.

When you use gw, it allows you to build up your vo2 max at a rapid pace... the more you build upon that, the higher it becomes... The important thing is to keep motivated and keep doing cardio when you are off of gw... your vo2 will not drop unless you allow it to drop... stay consistent and you will keep it... you may have a harder time increasing it as opposed to being on gw, but as long as you stay consistent, you will keep it...

What do you guys think about a female running gw? Appropriate doses? I've got a client who would like to up her endurance.
