there`s a point where my shoulders stop on the way up but It seems if I contract another set of muscles they go up more. I hope I`m making sense. lol If I do the latter I`m sure my weights would go down significantly.
Yeah, I agree that when I started shrugging to try to touch my ears I felt like a second stage of muscles came into play and I felt a much better pump.
Hmm maybe I'm using too much weight I guess (if I can't get my shoulders to my ears and I can normally). Last time I did 135 lb shrugs but I felt no burn nor any soreness, but having like 100 or something I got higher and it burned (I also rolled that time since I didn't know any better)
