A gallon a day works well for me. And liquid calories are a good tool when bulking.

A gallon of skim milk has like 128 grams of protien. How good is that protien for getting your 1 gram per pound of protien? Is it as good as whole food?

Russian- Yeah Bro... no problem. From what I remember, your cycle was quite light by most standards... and you had a very clean diet with LOTS of protein and calories. Its been almost a year since I read your posts on it... you should set-up a link to the thread with the pics, cycle, and nutrition you ran. I'm sure there are others that would be interested in running the same.

How long of a break have you taken since you last used AAS... last summer? I took 8 months off and just started a light(12 week)cycle 3 weeks ago. I'm getting results like its my first cycle Bro... I think a long break 'off', while still training like an animal, helps one get good results from low doses of AAS.

I'd just use shakes-you can get 100 grams of protein easier in water/juice and as long as you dont have GI problems from it you can drink a lot more protein this way other than drinking milk.

Protein is important, but you need overall calories for growth too. That's the benefit of something like milk. 1280 cals or so per gallon. All that, just from a glass or two with every meal.

lots of old school bodybuilders consumed a gallon of milk during their workouts.

can anyone drink that much milk and stay cut and diced? Or will the sugar play a factor in making you a bit smooth......

IMO if you're cutting you need to concentrate on eating whole food.....liquids and shakes are easily processed by the body with minimal calories.....whole food takes longer to break down and thus you burn a he;ll of a lot more calories compared to shakes and liquids......

Usually finish a gallon in a weeks time ... Mostly for lunch and post workout shakes..... When on, drinking about 1 and 1/2 gallons a week.

Try using skim milk powder. use it the same way u would protein powder at a fraction of the cost.
A couple of scoops can be added to your whey protein to cut down on the amt. of whey u would normally have to buy!!!
Try it and start saving $$ for your next cycle.

Skim is usually fortified with Calcium which helps you lean out, its made up of 80% Micellar casein and 20%Whey. The only downside is the milk sugar...but if you digest it well then I would go for it.

i agree with hansel, it depends on the person
i hav a friend who dinks like 3 gallons a week and stays pretty lean, were if I have more than a few glasses i day ifeel so bloated that i can't get in my car

Fuck , u guys might be right , is there any way to get rid of the sugar? I drink semi-skimmed here (cant get fully skimmed in Germany easily).

I read that milk needs rennin to be properly absorbed and that adults lack sufficient rennin to digest lots of milk.

But unless you are getting on stage I don't think it makes a huge difference.

*exclamer* Subjective information..

Has anyone factored in that milk has about 20-30% the daily recommended intake of calcium per cup!?! And vitamin D will be through the roof!!! Especially for those getting alot of sun at the same time. So taking down a gallon of milk may be overdoing it as far as this is concerned..

Just an idea..

personally lactose products and milk in particular makes me smooth in no time at all, but i think it would be usefull for calories when bulking. I think the main thing with milk is some peoples bodys cant digest it well so its not even worth it to drink it, like me.-Josh
