How do you make oatmeal taste good?

Mmmm, oatmeal. I'm crazy for the stuff! :) I guess you either like it, or not. I haven't heard of many who acquire a taste for it if they didn't like it to begin with.

My favorite breakfast (probably my favorite meal period) is oats with cinnamon, splenda, egg whites, and some chopped almonds...sometimes blueberries too!

I even love plain cooked oats with ground beef or turkey and veggies mixed in. Yes, I am an odd one. :)

Kraze, Splenda is an artificial sweetener. Kind-of similar to Equal or Sweet-n-Low, but it's made from a substance called sucralose instead of aspartame or saccharin. Sucralose is some kind of offshoot of sucrose (same or similar molecular structure, or some such thing), so it tastes more like sugar than its older artificial sweetener cousins, but due to its structure it's not absorbed by the body, hence no calories. You can probably go to www.splenda.com for more details on the process, that's all I know of it. :)

I just mix a cup and half in with my protein shakes. Blend it up good and you hardly know it's there. I also mix oatmeal in with my PB for my peanut butter sandwiches. Its a little hard to choke down some days, but overall its aight.

Try to mix in half a pack of Jello Sugar Free instant pudding(or The one w/ Sugar if you don't care) with just a little more water. They have a lot of flavors. I like pistachio or butterscotch for a treat.
