As you can see my rating says "novice". I am not a novice. How do you change your rating to like, amature or something else? Or does that have nothing to do with you personally, just how long you have been a member of the site or something? Someone please answer this question for me.

Whatsup bro> first of all Ill just say Welcome to Elitefitness.. youll definitely like it here. I was wondering the same thing when I was in your shoes...

It all depends on how many posts you have. Under your name youll see the # of posts that you have had so far... the more posts you have the higher your 'rank' goes. I think around 300 is Amatuer Bodybuilder and 600 is Pro Bodybuilder etc. etc. They go on and on.. :D:D

A post by the way is when you type something.. Like what this entire message I am typing you is considered a post.

hey big monstar,how's training???????????

Thanks for telling me that. When I posted questions I was taking the advise from the "Pro Bodybuilders" over all the others thinking that, that is what they are. I didn't realize it is by # of posts alone. Thanks for the info.

hehe, nope, if you go on the chat board you'll see elite bb, freaks and so on.. they're people with umpteen thousand posts :)

# of posts (and rating) has nothing to do with the quality of advice... for all you know ronnie could be the new guy posting advice and only have 2 posts... well it could be some 5'2'' 500lb lady in nebraska with 3000 posts telling you to do your squats on your knees... , always use common sense and never follow any advise blindly... (duh :) )

keep reading and participating, you'll find your way around here quickly...

and before you get a chance to ask, you need over 500 posts to put a pic under your name (avatar).

Tips i learnt from w####D, and ss###ss (i edited out the names) to bump up your rating so people trust you......when you dont know what your talking about. if you keep this up you will get a rating so high you will surpass the title you have gained in real life. so if you are in a novice in real life you will gain a title of pro body builder in elite fitness.

1# keep messages short but frequent.
2# always ad your opinion.....even if you say "yeah thank sounds good" "i agree", but always ad something even if you dont understand.
3# you can clock up points on the chat board.....you dont have to understand training over there.

dont trust anyone on this board. (the trust has to build up)

watch out for 17 year old kids who have trained for 2 months giving advice they shouldnt.

dont take everything as gospel. and always question.
Bump up your threads if you havent recieved your answers or you have recieved a vauge or weird answer and let someone who knows what they are talking about answer it.
