Ive been pounding down brown rice cakes instead of cooking the brown rice for a few weeks... soooooo much more convenient and I cant see how the cakes could be worse than regular rice since theyre simply composed of brown rice and salt...
Yep, either get one of them or you can cook it on the stove -- but it needs about 45 minutes + on low heat & keep watching it so the water doesn't boil off -- add water if needed......
I've found the rice cooker is the easiest & works the best.....
No, it's not bad...... but in my experience it's been messy -- my BR always boils over..... so if you get the texture you like by M'waving then keep with it....
