what you injecting and what pin size are you using?

i would use at least 1" pins for quads.

BD Andropen 275. I will heat the vile before running. I'll draw with a 22g needle and syringe, switch darts to a 25g then run.

You might find 3cc a little much for a quad if you've never injected before. Personally, I'll do as much as 3cc in a glute and 1.5 in a quad. Remember, the more liquid you put in a muscle, the more muscle you displace leading to scar tissue over time.

Push it in as deep as you can, while leaving just a little bit sticking out in case it breaks and you have to retrieve it.

Yeah I do about the same. I draw w/ a 20g and inject w/ a 25gx1 needle. I put it about 3/4 of the way in and it seems to do the trick! I love the 25g compared to the 22-23g i used to inject with. I inject test E and it takes me about hte same time to inject w/ a 25 g than any other needle i have used.

I have never heard of a needle breaking, but boy if it did, it would surely ruin your day.

Ditto 25 ga 1" all the way in...I will hit the outer quad about 6" above the knee one time and about 4" above the next. I run 2cc & 3cc all the time in the quads and the glutes.

yeah just make sure like 2mm of the needle is still out so if it does snap off you can pluck it out with a finger and you dont need any surgery to get it removed from your quad
