My appetite has been lower than normal lately, anything besides injectable b-12 that is good for increasing appetite? Preferably something like a vitamin or an herb, no drugs

B12 and Vit B complex; also, dropping blood sugar levels artificially might do the trick (think ALA - Glucorell-R).

Blood sugar/Insulin Fluctuations are basically a big factor when dealing w/ apetite. For extreme cases, I've recommended use of ala in higher dosage to get the blood sugar down and increase the food cravings.

What does your diet look like? I've found my appetite is greatly increased when I add in some high GI carbs. Due to the blood sugar fluctuations that Mr. X referred to.

my diet is all low GI carbs except for the dextrose that I have in my post workout shake, im eating 6 meals a day 40/30/30 around 4600 kcals a day

Try doing dextrose before the workout and after and add the ALA (Glucorell-R) w/ every meal, that should increase you food intake - also the bcomplex and B12 can be taken w/ the first 3 meals of the day to help you throughout the rest of the day.
