How can I do T-rows if I don't have proper equipment?

Is there a way to do t-rows with a barbell at your own home gym? Maybe there is some kind of an attachment for a barbell being sold that will let you do t-rows?

I have seen the lads do T-bar rows with just an olympic bar. You brace one end and put the weights on the other.

You could also just do bent over rows, dumbell rows, or dead lifts instead of T-bar rows.

Yep I sometimes put one corner of the barbell in the corner and then use a rope and grasp it midway down and you can do them that way

Check out Jay Cutler training 5 weeks out for Olympia on Bodybuilding.com, he is doing his back, and he does T-bar rows with an Olympic bar and a close grip pull down attachment

There is no reason to do these. Regular bent rows are a superior lift.

Exactly. Your back wont notice if you never do these again. DB row or Bent-over row will do the same job or better.

If so, can you these with a narrow grip, or does it even matter whether you go wide or narrow

It does not matter, do what feels right and, as Badguy suggested, dumbells work just as well. Heavy deads and heavy bent rows will build a great back and great strength: Good article
