How can I convince my wife to eat better?

My wife seems to think that its ok to either not eat at all, or when she does then she eats junk. Like yesterday her diet consisted of donuts for breakfast, taco bell for lunch and movie popcorn and DR. Peppers for dinner. She claims she is to busy to eat most of the time because of work, even though she works at 2 bars that serve food.
She was working out everyday until about a month ago and now has stopped and is eating junk like this. You can already tell the difference in her body fat and energy. She can’t figure out why she's tired all the time now? When I tell her about it she gets pissed and thinks I am telling her what to do and how to eat.
How can I convince her that it’s unhealthy not to eat period and even unhealthier to just be eating junk when you do?

Seems like the obvious answer is "how did you feel before you stopped training compared to now when you aren't training?" Sometimes you just need a huge break from the training, etc. However you usually get back on track when you start to feel that your body is getting sluggish again. But if she's tired all the time, that tells me that she doesn't like being like that. If she wants to change that, tell her to just get back in the gym for 3 days & see if she starts to feel more energetic.

As far as diet, shit in, shit out. You fuel your high performance Ferrari with mud, it will run like shit. Or you DON'T fuel your high performance Ferrari, then it just sits in the garage (couch) and looks good. You leave it sit there for a while, and it starts to collect dust and look sad & unused.

I agree with Sassy 100%. Sometimes you need a break from the training, counting macros, and oats and egg whites. Let her get back into it on her own. I think the worse thing you could do is to keep reminding her of the "bad habit". Ask her to come to the gym with you.

All you can do is be a role model and maybe offer to cook dinner somenights and kinda work together as a team...some times if it is forced they will rebel lol

Exactly!! Try to be encouraging thru your actions as your verbal encouragement could be taken as criticism and she'll get defensive. She sounds like she got a little defensive when you brought it up. Keep on with your workout schedule, prepare healthy meals that look good + taste good (see the recipe thread for ideas) and maybe do some fit activities that are fun & don't seem like work. Go for bike rides, rollerblade, walks - hold hands, go out at sunset, etc.....

You can't MAKE her "get back into it" she needs to do that on her own.....

...Love the Analogies :D

I agree with all the ladies as well...also do not "tell her she's fat"

It sounds like she already knows how to do the fitness thing -- maybe just needed a break from it. God knows I hit the point where I just dont give a shit about how much weight I can push or can't look at another chicken and Ben & Jerry are my best friends. But when u start to literally feel the fat buildign up on your thighs, it takes a small mental battle in your mind about the comfort of not having to do anything strenuous / eat pizza / immediate gratification and just wanting to feel better. Esp if you just can't peform your daily tasks w/o being exhausted all the time. And then once you realize that the immediate gratification route is exactly just that -- immediate gratification, delayed regret, the only viable solution is to hit the gym.

Thanks all- But shes not around usually when I cook dinner. She works split shifts as a bartender, so she usually works in the evenings. And when she is off from work she just likes junk food. She did a cycle of Anavar earlier this past winter. She was looking really awsome. She was working out alot was eating good. And then all of a sudden, nothing, not eating good, not working out and you know what happening from there.
Its been over a month since she has seen the gym!
