How can I bulk and do MMA at the same time?

joe if he did that cycle he would not make it through his training.. 1g of sauce and the dbol would kill his cardio and make him feel like his heart was going to explode..

I guess it affects people differently. Know I dont recommend running marathons on juice, but for myself my conditioning isnt affected all that bad. Also my training is geared towards strength development so I dont try to gain massive amounts of weight. The additional weight from a bulk cycle will reek havoc on your conditioning, thats why I suggested his diet and training should be geared towards increasing performance.

Hey, I was wondering if it's a good idea to do a test dbol cycle while training mma? I read somewhere that Test E can make you feel woozy if your heart rates above 160, and you should only do low dosages. I will not be fighting while on it, i would just like to bulk up from 152 to about 165. I think i'm near my natural max. I bench 275, squats n deadlfts are gettin there. I'm definetely a hard gainer. I eat 4500 calories a day to gain about 2 lbs a week when i bulk, as I get heavier i increase it to 5500. Ive taken Test once before but not while training. I was wondering if it was possible to train mma and bulk with test? or just stick with 1 or the other and take a break from mma? or maybe try something other than test to bulk.

You can do both but the mass gains are modest - something has to give. There was a pro MMA cycle post doing the rounds on the various boards, essentially no higher than 600mg combined AAS per week but you can load up in first 2 weeks. Testosterone was fine, eq was perfect, no deca or Dbol although I ran deca as I had a sore joint and it worked out well. No stanazol (bad for joints and heavy cardio) no tren either as it gases you out as well. I also added masteron and my cardio didn't get any worse.

I ran:
Week 1 injected 500 mg test e + 500 mg deca and then..
Test E 250mg per week
Deca (although I was advised to run Eq) 250 per week
Masteron acetate 100 mg 2 x per week. I believe the acetate allowed me to run what was 200 mg per week (100 mg over the recommended 600 mg max)

I found the PCT to be a breeze as well - the need to build combo.

This was a listed as pre-fight cycle so maintaining weight and performance enhancement were the goals.

This was by far the best protocal I found to be able to kickbox, wrestle without the bloat or gassed out feeling that steroids can easily Hit you with - hard.

However you have indicated that you want to put on mass, So why not just do a mass cycle and ease off the cardio?
 
It really depends on what your ultimate goal is... Are you a hobbyist? Or do you plan to be a professional fighter? Also, why are you trying to go up in weight? More often than not, fighters are trying to get down to the lowest weight class they can. If they are younger, and they can't fight the natural process of gaining weight, then they'll go up in weight class. However, usually only older fighters or pros who are completely at the top of the game (Anderson Silva, etc) and have no more competition at their current weight class will try to move up.

If you're not a pro and you want to gain muscle, you'll probably need to dial down the MMA training a little bit, otherwise the AAS will mostly just help in recovery but not much for muscle gain.

What kind of cycle you choose should be dictated by what your goals are.
 
....iight a little more information. I'm 24 5"11 152 lbs. 41"chest 15"arms.(yes thats cold) bench 275lbs, deadlift 365, squats kinda suck only 275, military press 185. I've been lifting for 10 years, been lfting seriously for 2+. I think i may be hypoglycemic. I'm all about red meat and pasta when trying to bulk. Last year I did two half cycles of sustanon 250 at 500 mg/week for 5 weeks on, 8 weeks off then 5 back on. gained 14 lbs kept 12 of it, but i also almost completely avoided cardio during this time. I have visible abs. Top heavy, skinny legs lol. Basically I'm just wondering if 1.) what roids are safe to be doing that much cardio? and 2.) What ones would get the best results for gaining muscle, while training mixed martial arts? I'm not too worried about lbm I'm pretty sure i can convert it after the cycle i jus wanna get bigger!...or..I'm trying to avoid this if possible, or maybe if I should jus stop training mma for a little and focus entirely on the gym.

My work out schedule now is:
Mornings: Run distance once a week, swim twice a week (sometimes after lifting) arms twice a week sometimes morning sometimes evening.
Evenings: chest, shoulders, back on seperate days every 5th day. Legs once a week, followed by plyometrics. Sprints, leaps, alot of jumping. Take a break and eat.
followed by MMA 2 hours a day 3-4 times a week.

If anyone could please help me it would greatly be appreciated!!!
