How bad is salt while cutting?

I've always enjoyed salt with food, I'm wondering how bad it is while on a cutting diet? Are there any different types that are better than others, such ionized versus sea salt, etc?

Can't help you with the different types of salt (personally, I use sea salt), but if you drink enough water, you won't have any trouble with fluid retention.

Just make sure you aren't pre-disposed to any problems with high blood pressure.

Yea never heard of salt playing a role in fat loss. maybe extra weight but it would prob be water i guess

Salt is fine. The only thing it will do is cause more water retention. But this, of course, is temporary. Plus, if you are taking in enough water bloating won't be an issue.

Salt can make the regular cutting diet MUCH more palatable.

This is assuming no high blood pressure issues.
