I dont understand engagement parties. They're so excessive IMO. Hell, the SHOWERS are excessive IMO. Why not just have the wedding and people can give gifts there? Why do couples also need engagement parties, and wedding showers (multiple showers usually)? greed. that's why. I find it appalling. And stupid.

Just like people who have a baby shower everytime they're pregnant. i can see having a shower for the first child, but why do you need numerous showers? you dont. again, it's greed.

and then there's the whole "house warming party". in other words, "bring me presents just because I moved into a new place". that's ludicrous and greedy IMO. Ive never been to one and I never will. It's gay. And stupid.

I'm dropping my hubby off at the Columbus airport tonight. I'll be meeting up with friends for dinner afterwards. Bri is wanting to stay overnight so she can swim at a hotel;sounds like a good plan to me.

Saturday I am taking Brianna ice-skating with her soccer team. I have NOT been on ice-skates in prolly five years so this ought to be good.


I'm not doing crap on Sunday! I need a day where brushing my teeth is the only thing I do for myself. Can you say lazy? Sounds like another prefect plan IMO.
