I give the guy credit. He has some decent size and pictures arent really accurate. Its hard to exactly tell his weight because you dont know his bf% with all his clothes on and stuff. Atleast he doesnt use the site to try to sell something like other people..

I gotta give the guy some credit as well. Stats look a little off however.

you can't judge his weight just off that picture, one of my mates is 255 but most people would say he's about 220 when they see him, the reason his legs are so big he has to buy 40 inch waist pant to fit them (his waists 34 inches).

Besides if this guys showing off about his feats of strengths surely it makes more sense to downplay his weight

Looks 260 to me.

I'm more impressed by the farmers walk shot. Takes a hell of a lot more effort.

I dont think its quite that simple, and definately not worthy of being 'PERIOD'.

Whilst dorian yates didnt exactly use HIT he did train with relatively low volume as did mentzer both having no problems with mass.

I think it largely depends on the individual and how they respond. For me generally low volume is more productive both in regards to mass and strength.

Dorians trainign wasnt HIT!

Sure he did 1 set per exercise (later), but he done up to 5 exercises per bodypart each with a warm up. Lets see, looks like 10 sets to me!

And in the begining he done up to 3 sets per exercises and multiple exercises per bodypart!

Yeah, it is a partial deadlift, but very impressive nonetheless. That's the kind of weight that will spray your intestines out your ass. As for being 260, I wouldn't put it past him. He's a good sized guy.

I just looked at all his pics. The dude looks 260, easy. You all have to remember that the guy is 6' with more normal BF levels, not a 5' 8", bird-boned bodybuilder with 3%.

It is not perfect, but it is a general idea. Muscular hypertrophy is correlated with higher volume, due to greater microtrauma, while lower volume (high weight) is more neural development (strength).

I'm looking at his site and am not too impressed. I pulled 880 totally raw from MUCH lower than that...AFTER doing the atlas stones (including a 404 pound atlas stone). I've gone 135 feet with a PAIR of 305 farmers and could get much farther now...

He deadlifted 503 raw with the apollon's axle. I pulled 551 a year and a half ago with it. His apollon's axle with 303 isn't great either...I did 421.5 a year or more ago with one.

Strength and agility does not always equal size. Developing the specific muscles, in the proper manner, with proper technique, and speed...makes one stronger and more efficient.

I know this isn't the training forum...but volume does not equate to mass, you will not stimulate more hypertrophy from more volume, mass comes from a solid diet...end of story.
