The guys are stromg but not big... whats the deal?

Low volume is great for strength but poor for mass.

I dont think its quite that simple, and definately not worthy of being 'PERIOD'.

Whilst dorian yates didnt exactly use HIT he did train with relatively low volume as did mentzer both having no problems with mass.

I think it largely depends on the individual and how they respond. For me generally low volume is more productive both in regards to mass and strength.
 
thats a half assed deadlift, he's only lifting the bar about 10 inches.

Like with squats, some people can only squat about 300 but can quarter squat 600 or more.
 
it's a 952lb partial deadlift...and jesus christ, im looking at him 'neck deadlifting' 500lbs, and that looks like a good way to seriously damage your neck for life.
 
Yeah, i was thinking the same thing.

Its one thing if stays bent over. But to stand straight up and have 500 lbs pushing down? Dangerous.
