The best movements for the hips are Kneeling Squats, Ultra Wide Low box Squats, Ultra Wide Sumo Deadlifts, and pull thrus will kind of hit the hips but not to the extent of these other exercises.
One other thing that you can do in your extra work around the house is double a band up and place it around your knees...force your knees out against it for reps...or as I prefer to do a static contraction for time. Good Luck
